Independence Day

This is where it all started!

Did you know that we should actually be celebrating our independence on July 2nd??? That is when the Continental Congress voted for independence and refined the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration of Independence was read to the public on the 4th of July and that is why we celebrate on that day, but we officially declared ourselves independent from England on the 2nd! Isn't history cool.
