When Mom brings home something weird, make sure to investigate it thoroughly! In case you can't tell what they are, they are Green Boiled Peanuts. Mom goes all squishy for boiled peanuts. She was an Air Force brat (her dad, our Papa, was in the Air Force for 26 years) and they spent 2 years in Valdosta, Georgia (where some of our blogging friends live - hello ;) ). She was taught the joys of eating boiled peanuts there. What we think is even more funny, when she was in Washington DC, she ran into a huge high school band from Valdosta. She says there weren't as many people living in Valdosta 30 something years ago when she lived there as there were in the band (a slight exaggeration, but not much).

Boiled peanuts? We've never heard of those! That's a great Meezer rule. :) Everything new in the house must be investigated, especially if it's weird!

Oh yes! Mommy Beans mouth watered when she read they were boiled peanuts! Ummmm she can't finds them in any store here lately though. She said nothing is more betterer than a fresh boiled peanut, not the canned stuff.

Great Meezer rule, Tavi! Mommy has lived her entire life in Georgia, but has never been brave enough to try a boiled peanut even once.
