Sleepy Saturday Morning

We stayed up late watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics. It was pretty cool. Mom liked the way they lit the torch, and she said the ceremony was beautiful. We hope those of you that saw it liked it. We now have to recover so we can watch some of the Olympic events.

We didn't watch the Olympics last night, but we probably will all sit on the sofa today and watch it cuz it's raining again. Yesterday is the only day it hasn't rained since a week ago last Monday!

We watched the first part, then fell asleep. But when we woke up at 5:30 AM, they were showing the last part with the lighting of the torch. The ceremony must have been very long. (Ha ha)

Oh, thank you all so much for coming to visit me and purring for me to get better! I didn't even know there was such a thing as loving, caring humans and kitties and it's keeping my heart so warm at the vet hospital this weekend. That's even more important than green papers, so don't worry about that. Everyone is being so kind and generous, I think I'll be able to get all the vet care I need!

Your new friend,
Mr. Milky

We are suffering from rain here like Eric and Flynn. But as the weather is so c**p, cold, wet and windy, and not at all like August, at least that is a good excuse for vegging out in front of the Olympics. We watched the opening ceremony too, didn't have to stay up late because here it was on about 1pm to 5pm. Very spectacular! Now we will be cheering on the Brits!
