When you are getting your fluids, be patient, but only up to a point. Let Mom know that you don't like sitting where she wants you to for the 5 minutes necessary.
Tiki, that is an excellent rule! We think you must realize how much better you feel afterward, but you should let Mom now how much you don't care for it!
you are very brave Tiki. but maybe sitting where you're supposed to is a good thing? Unless of course there are not enough soft cushions or blankies or the talking picture box is too loud.
I think that is a very good strategy, Tiki. Stop by my bloggie, buddies: I have an award for you! Your buddy, Jimmy Joe P.S. That was a grate group picture you posted yesterday!
Hang tough Tiki. Sitting still for any length of time when it is not your choice is not fun but this will help you feel better.
Mom said to tell your Mom to ask your VET if she accepts Care Credit. When all 5 of us got sick at the same time it cost more green papers than Mom and my Daddy had so they applied for Care Credit right there at the VET's office. They were approved within about 5 minutes and are now making monthly payments. If they make the payments on time and pay off the whole thing within 1 year there is no interest charge. Mom says Lord willing they will be able to do it and it made her feel much happier.
Tiki you are absolutely right about being patient, it's never a good idea to allow your human to think they are in total control. I hope those fluids are doing you lots of good and you are feeling better.

Tiki, that is a good rule. It is important to take your fluids, but, as you said, it's also important to let the humans know that you don't enjoy it.

You are being good. I don't think I could sit still for 5 minutes, and I know Flynn couldn't.
