Veteran's Day/Rememberance Day

I'm a little sad thinking about all of the soldiers that have given their lives to help protect us, but also grateful. The Mom-Lady-Person said that sometimes in the excitement of having a day off of work, some people forget what this day is really about. We will be taking a moment to remember today.

Our Canadian friends also observe Rememberance Day today. They also honor their soldiers. In honor of them:

Thank you for your post. It is very important to remember what Veteran's Day and Remembrance Day are all about. I am also very grateful for all our men and women in uniform, past and present.

Very nice post. I'm thinking of our veterans today and especially thinking of my Dad. He was a veteran of two wars.

Thank you to all veterans and those who are currently protecting our country.

What a lovely post Miss Jade. it's true, it's so easy to get caught up in the holiday and forget the true meaning and sacrifice. We will always remember.
