Mancat Monday and Purrs

First, we have to say goodbye to a wonderful friend. Jake was one of the first catbloggers we read. He got cancer, and his momma gave him a wonderful gift. She helped him to the Rainbow Bridge so he wouldn't be in pain anymore. Jake, we will miss you. Say "Hi" to Tiki for us. We will meet again at the Bridge

Also to all the cats (and everyone else) in Australia, we are sending purrs your way. We hope all of our friends are safe. We are so sad to hear about the many people and animals that have lost their lives and homes.

Jake was a great mancat, and we know his family are going to miss him. There's a lot of sadness here in Victoria, Australia, at the moment. We live in the city of Melbourne, so we're okay, and the closest we've been is to see a glow in the sky in the direction of the fires. Our hearts go out to all who have suffered because of the fires.

We are sorry we never got to meet Jake. We missed out on knowing a wonderful Mancat. We wish his family lots of comfort during this very sad time.
We'll also keep the people and animals of Australia in our thoughts and purrs.

We've lost so many furrends recently. It's been very very sad. We've sure got our purrrers going for all the Australia kitties (and humans) too.
