This is one of the best parts about being formerly feral...having a brother to take a nap with.

We are also purring very hard for the two Charlies - Daddy Charley and Charlie the cat. We hope they are both well on their way to recovery.

You asked on my blog what a bank holiday is. Well it is just another name for a public holiday, it is what we call them here. All the schools, offices, etc and of course, banks, close for the day and most of the shops are either closed or keeping Sunday hours. We love three day weekends! This bank holiday is the May Day one. We get another one at the end of may which is called the Late Spring Bank Holiday. Then we don't get another one until August. Except of course that my mum is a teacher so she gets more holidays than that anyway!
