Try It....You'll Like It

About 3 months ago, a very nice lady asked all of us cats on the blogosphere if anyone wanted to test a new kind of litter and report back to everyone else about it. We wrote to her and said we wouldn't mind being guinea pigs.

We got 3 boxes of litter 6 weeks ago, and we started using the new litter on May 1st. Since we were already using Fresh Step, we just added the new litter on top of the clean old litter. It had a nice pleasant scent, but it wasn't overpowering and it wasn't very dusty. Mom particularly liked the lavender scent.

Fresh Step lives up to their claim of being scoopable. As we wrote before, we have a littermaid, and it had no problem picking up the clumps of the "new" Fresh Step Litter.

All in all, we have to give Fresh Step Lavender Expressions Scoopable Litter 2 paws up. It had a nice LIGHT scent. It smelled good, but wasn't too strong. It didn't have a lot of dust, and it clumped well. We hope they start selling it in the giant tubs that we get at the warehouse store, so we can use it again. We would definitely buy this again. Thank you Fresh Step for coming up with this new product. You did a great job!

We're glad you found a nice lavender smell. Lavender smells very pretty, unlike little boxes. hehehe.

Terrific review! That sounds like a great litter. We don't have that brand available here in Munich. We use a plant-based litter.

Lavender Valley sounds like a pretty scent!

That sounds nice! We use crystals in our box. I don't think I've ever actually used clumping litter! I'm glad your experiment went well and you enjoyed the new litter.

Good review - we're excited to try it. We always use Fresh Step, but there's nothing wrong with smelling even better!

You three write a good review..good collaboration! One question: is that litter better compared to less expensive litters that might have a bit more dust, but be just as scoopable?

And what does Camie think? Being a woofie, she doesn't have to use it, but she does come into contact with the bits that fall out from between your toes and the general destinkification factors?

It's good dat you love it! It's such a pain when you have the wrong litter - especially when it doesn't clump!

That does sound like good litter! The clump factor is very important, *smile*.

Wow, that sounds like good litter! Our Littermaid broke last month. We've been so sad about it.

Momma loves the smell of lavender, personally, though, I prefer good old fashioned dirt, not that we ever get any. Mistrie does, lucky her! She has found the spot Momma planted grass seed, and loves it! So much for new grass...
