Well, as you can see, we are still at Papa's. After moving some stuff this weekend, Mom decided that she is going to keep us at home with Papa until the craziness of the moving is all over. She says there is too much going in and out with the door being opened, and we don't need to be there underfoot, or trying to escape. We don't mind. In Cody news, he has now put one paw inside the PTU. Someone suggested that Mom try to grab him while he is eating. He will not go anywhere near the food dish if she is around. And once he starts eating, he is still very watchful, and will take off running when she comes in to the room. We could get a trap, but Mom is trying to go the route of least trauma. If this fails, we will see about trapping him, but pray we don't have to do that.
In tail news, my tail is mostly all better. The swelling is all gone, and it is not sore when Mom strokes it. She hasn't tried to put too much pressure on her strokes in case it is still sore deep down.

Hi, Tiki! Glad ur tail is no more sore. :)
Our mummy has a suggestion for getting Cody into the PTU...
Mbean: Try feeding him less (half portion or less) during meal times for 1 day and put the treats trail out only at the end of the day. The treats have to be put way into the PTU too... Then keep watch near the trail/PTU and pretend not to notice Cody, and when he's busy eating the treats in the PTU, just go over quietly/quickly n nudge him in. Learned this tip from my days working at the vet's, hope it work for you guys. :)
Let me know if there's anything u're not sure about, good luck! :)
Your tail does look better. I hope that you can catch Cody without too much drama!
Oh, we are so glad that your tail is better!
Purrs!
Tiki, we are very glad that your tail is doing better! We hope that Cody will go inside the PTU and won't need to be trapped.
That tail is looking lots better Tiki! Hopefully Cody will get into that PTU, cause it would be cruddy to have to trap him!
I am very glad your tail is better! We wouldn't want to be a meezer with a kinked tail, like me!
A terrific tale about a terrific tail.
What great news about your tail, Tiki! Good luck on the move, guys. Let me know if you need help with anything! I'll teleport right over.

Oh, Cody! We have special hidey spots all ready and waiting for you at our house, so you won't have to deal with the nasty PTU and move! Teleport over anytime!

I am glad your tail is feeling better! I agree, during a move it is best to stay somewhere safe and quiet.
I'm glad your tail is bedder. Your mom is wise to let yoo stay outta the way. Last thing yoo need is to get lost or get yur tail stepped on!
Look how great your tail looks! You're lucky they didn't shave your tail piece at the VET. That was the most horrible thing!

Dats great that yours tail is so much better. R & R is always greats take it whiles you can I say.
Cody, what can I say, I knows how much I hates the PTU too. I hope it goes well for you.
Good news about your tail. Fatty will not get in his carrier either, except for one time when he was really, really sick, he just walked in. What we do is this. Set the carrier at a vertical angle, one person holds it in place. Person two grabs the cat and puts him in hind paws first, usually works.
Oh boy, moving is very scary business. But I'm glad your tail is feeling better!
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Tiki, your tail almost looks as good as new. We think your mom is so smart to wait. That's what mom did with us. She did have to be careful that we didn't run away from our first home while the door was being opened so often by the movers, but it was the lesser of the dangerous situations. Hang in there
Oh, the M-word! Mom and Dad have been saying that lately too, but we aren't too sure if it will happen or not.
Good luck!
Tara
