Thursday Update

Sorry we don't have any pictures today. Mom had to work late yesterday, and she left the camera at Papa's house. We kept Mom awake most of the night Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Tavi was mad that Cody was upset. So Tavi would get in a hissing, growling mood where he wanted to be left alone. Mom opened up the PTU and put our blanket over the door so it was a private hide-away for him, and that settled him down. Cody went from hiding to trying to find new places to hide. We think he has to scope out all of the good hiding places so he knows where to run to. His favorite right now is behind Mom's TV. She moved it over to one side so he has an easier time jumping into her TV armoire to get there. As for me (Tiki), Mom said I did the best. I still had a few periods where I didn't like it that Tavi was mad or Cody was scared, so I joined in the crying to keep Mom awake. But, we have all settled down. Mom comes home every day at lunch and has a nap with us, and yesterday, we were all quite calm and relaxed, so she thinks we are getting used to everything. As for Camie, she is fine where ever she goes, as long as she has her bed to lie on and Mom close by, she does well.

I was pretty freaked out when I moved into my house. I am sure the cats will settle down eventually.

We hope you all get used to the new place soon! It's great that your mom can come home at lunch to spend some time with you!

Awww. It'll get better. I see by your blog entry below that you guys move in style. Last time we moved, mommy just shoved me and Hannah (Rainbow Bridger who came before Macy) into a large PTU together. I told mommy dat she sucks.

Best wishes in getting settled in!

We didn't like moving either--so we searched out all the good hiding places and then Momma couldn't find any of us!

I just hate the moving process! But hang in there and you will all get used to your new place soon! We just hope the new beans REALLY understand the closed door policy.

The furniture is the same, right? So there is something familiar! That's good.

Oh we hope that you get more and more used to your new home as quickly as possible. Cody dearest we really wish you would feel secure enough not to need to hide so much. But at the same time we're glad that you've found some hiding spot so that you can feel comfortable now.

Tavi, I think it's interesting that you became angry because Cody was upset. Were you angry with him or the situation? But to keep your momma up with the noise you were making wasn't fair for her. She sounds like a very patient woman. My mom when kept from her sleep is a dangerous person to have around. I guess she couldn't throw you out of the bedroom if she has roommates and a new woofie roommate at that.

It's great that you all are settling down. That's a blessing.

It's so hard to move and get use to new stuff. I am glad that's it's all over and I hope every day is a little better.
That's how it was for us.
Now we're all fine!
