Jade ran off to the bridge a little while ago. I took her in to the emergency vet, and while they were writing up an estimate of how much it would cost to run all of the tests, I was alone in the room with her. I told her that if she needed to run off to be better to go ahead. She immediately started gasping for breath. The vet came back in and said she was going, and I told him to put her to sleep so she wouldn't suffer anymore. I only had her for a little over a year, but it doesn't lessen the pain of missing her. I know she is happy and healthy again, but I will miss her very much. Thank you all for your purrs. I am sure they brought her comfort in her last hours.
