Since there are currently 5 of us, we are each going to say 2 honest things about ourselves.

1) I love to bang on the bedroom door at night trying to get out and patrol the rest of the house. Mom gets mad at me for doing this because she finds it hard to sleep. (Tavi)

2) After almost 16 years of being an inside only cat, I still try to get outside every chance I get. Mom still gets upset with me about this. I have always only been indoors, but I long to be outside. (Tavi)

3) I am slooooooooooowly starting to trust Mom more. She has been able to run her hand down my back for a few seconds about 10 times now. (Cody)

4) I will tolerate Mom trying to pet me as long as I am getting treats at the same time. I will do almost anything for treats. (Cody)

5) I have been very upset with Gracie and having to go to the V-E-T last week. I have been spending most of the time hiding under the bed. (Miss Jade)

6) When Mom got really concerned about me a couple of days ago, and basically pushed/shoved me out to grab me, I got so upset I pooped on myself again. It did get me a jar of baby food tho. (Miss Jade)

7) I am a bit afraid of the dog that lives here. Mom makes sure she is always between me and her. She barks at Mom and me A LOT! (Camie)

8) I hate using our own yard to got potty. I always want to go to the neighbors' yards. Mom always makes sure that she cleans up after me. (Camie)

9) Gracie doesn't like the Cody cat - me growl and scream at him. Two-legged person get mad when me do that. She says me bullying him. (Gracie)

10) Gracie would be happiest if me had Two-legged thing allllllll to me. Me jealous of Tavi cat, Jay cat and Cody cat. Me doesn't mind Camie cat. (Gracie)

11) I hate when Camie whines in the morning to go out. I am not a morning person and she definately is, and wakes me up way to early on the weekends. (Mom)

12) I don't think I am cut out to be a foster mom to kitties. I am having a hard time trying to find a new home for Gracie - she is/was supposed to only be a foster until I could find a good home for her. I don't know that any home will be good enough, but if she doesn't stop growling/screaming at the others (mostly Cody) I will have to find a new home for her. We are trying feliway and rescue remedy. She only seems to do it when I am around. I think she really is jealous of the others. (Mom)

Tabby Tuesday, Doodle & Award

Another picture of Cody during Temptation and Greenies time. Mom loves how it shows off his beautiful green eyes. We received this award from our new friend Grete at Cory Cat Blog. They have 7 cats and a woofie and take in fosters too. They are a lot like the Gibb's Creek Cats. We have already received this award once, so we aren't going to pass it on to the 10 blogs that we are supposed to. We would like to pass it on to everyone who stopped by to leave us purrs, hugs and condolences when Tiki went to the bridge. Mama is doing okay. She has bad times - mostly when she is really tired and ready to sleep. Tiki was her cuddler and always slept with her. The rest of us come and go and she misses that. But her good times outweigh her bad times, and she loves remembering all the love he gave her.

We would however like to pass this on to one blog in particular (just because Camie is so excited to see some greyhounds blogging) - Scout and Jack of Two Greyhound Town. Their mom does most of the talking, but Camie is going to try to convince them that they need to do some more.

We aren't going to do a rule today - just an update. Mom is very worried about Tiki. He isn't eating very well. She is having to spoon feed him and he isn't even eating much of the baby food he loves so much. He looks like he has lost more weight, and just wants to sleep a lot. Please purr for him.

Friends and Award on Saturday

We got this award from Castle. It is the Gold Card Award, and it is given to bloggers who "are always working to make things better for all cats and doggies". Thank you so much for thinking of us Castle.

We now must give the award to 5 friends. Four of these friends must be dedicated followers of our blog. One should be a new blogger and live in a different part of the world. Each awardee must link back to whomever gave the award.

As Castle said, it is hard to pick just 5 friends.

We are going to pick Victor the Vampire Kitty and his sister Mushka. They are pretty new to blogging and Victor, like Castle, looks almost like Tavi's face twin.

Nom, Nom, Nom. These Temptations are delicious!

Jimmy Joe gave us the Excellent Blog award. Thank you so much. We would like to pass it on to Baby Mao. We love that he is so comfortable with smelling like poo. We would also like to pass it on the the Big Piney Woods Cats. They always have fairy finding parties in the spring and summer.

Award and Thursday Thirteen

We got this award from Chance's doggie, Shadow. He created this award for all the kitties who are brothers/sisters of a dog, or just good friends with one. Thank you so much Shadow. We love our Camie and know that she loves us too.

We would like to pass this on to Luxor who has a woofie for a "special friend," Karl at the Cat Realm for starting the NOMSS Friend Challenge, and to Parker, who let her woofie blog a little bit ago. We are hoping she will allow Diamond to blog some more.

Now, on to our TT. We decided to pick our favorite toys that are not supposed to be toys.

1. Mom's hair scrunchies (we have a lot of these right now because Mom has much shorter hair)
2. The ring to a milk jug (we don't get these very often)
3. A piece of a plastic bag tied to a length of fishing line so it looks like a butterfly. (Very similar in popularity to whirly birds)
4. Mom's earrings (she doesn't like this one)
5. A piece of wrapped hard candy (Mom will sometimes give us these or we fish them out of the candy dish)
6. The dogs kibble that Camie noses out of her dish (she likes to share with us)
7. Shoe laces and the strings to mom's sweat pants (We don't get the shoe laces very often - Mom wears Birkenstocks almost every day)
8. The plastic ring around the cat litter (the thing Mom has to yank off to get in there)
9. Plastic zip ties (we steal these from Papa. He likes to zip tie all sorts of stuff)
10. Pens (one of our all time favorites)
11. Straws (same as the pens)
12. Camie's tail (we sometimes try to catch it when she is wagging it - she doesn't mind as long as we don't put the bitey on it)
13. Anything that looks interesting and that looks like we probably shouldn't be playing with.

Come Home Mao (and an award)

Please come home Mao - we are all very worried about you! Everyone misses you and we think Skeezix may freeze to death without you there to snuggle with him.

Tyler awarded us the Life is Like Hell without Friends award. We are so touched. We feel really lucky that Mom allowed us to have our own blog. We have made so many friends since we started. Thank you Tyler.

We would like to pass on the award to:

Tara, Princess Meezer and Kavan because Tara and Mom share a name and because she and Kavan had a terrible, no good, very bad day recently when they came down the mountain, and they are such good friends to so many kitties.

Buddah and Max, because without them, a lot of kitties and doggies wouldn't be blogging. Buddah's was the very first blog we read, and we discovered an amazing community, and the name of the award just seems made for Max.
