My rule for today: When your mom can't find her camera, it's best to just sleep until she takes the time to look for it. Of course, that could lead to a really long nap.

Mom got herself a new toy and has been playing it for the last two night. I've been hanging out in my bed near her most of the time, but she has come close to hitting me a couple of times (she stopped herself before she did). My rule for today is...hide parts of people toys so they will pay attention to you and not the toy.

My rule for today is to take advantage of a Mom going to bed early. See my mom usually goes to bed at about 2:00 in the morning and gets up to get ready for work at 6:00 am. That doesn't give me very much cuddle time, but Mom was tired last night, and decided to go to bed at midnight. So, instead of making her take a new picture, I decided to let her post an old picture of me and then go to sleep. Here I am taking advantage of Camie's water bowl. As you can see, it's just the right heighth. I think this was before we got our fountain (which hasn't been set up again). Mom said she would take a new picture since my 16th birthday is tomorrow. It is going to be a little bit sad since this is the first time I will be celebrating without my brother.

In other news, Mom says we are going to be moving over Memorial Day weekend. We will be moving about 20 minutes away, and she isn't sure again how she is going to catch Cody and this move will be much more traumatic for him. He will actually have to ride in the metal monster on wheels. In some ways, we can't wait to move because it will mean we will be able to wander the apartment at will and not have to watch out for the mean woofie that lives here (not Camie).

Also, this is mom's new toy. This is what is taking away our visiting time. She is learning how to use it and has to practice on it a lot. Does anyone know what it is, or how to get rid of it so we can get back to visiting all our friends like we should?

First, my rule for today: If you share treats nicely with your brother, it is likely you will get more.

Also, we kitties have had a meeting to discuss Mom, and we have come to the conclusion that she is either getting old and senile, or she just doesn't love us anymore. As Gracie told you yesterday, Mom's camera battery ran out of charge, and Mom has know that it was getting low for a couple of weeks. Did Mom put the battery in the charger when she first noticed it was getting low??? NO, because she couldn't find it. The last night, she decided to look one more time because she was deserting us to go to a fish place and all she was going to do was look at them??? But I digress... She looked all over for the charger - in drawers, in her computer bag, under the bed, but she didn't find it in any of those places. You know why??? It was because the charger was plugged into the plug where it was supposed to be. She has been looking off and on for the charger for almost a month now and it was right where it was supposed to be. We really think she is getting senile.
