Hi, My name is Miss Jade. I have a new lady person who said I am much too ladylike to be called anything but Miss. I was named for my green eyes. I have a funny pigmentation in my eye that is closest to the camera, and the nice lady person thinks it is cool looking. I am a grey and tan tabby, or so I've been told. I don't really care. I have tummy troubles, and my tummy hurts a lot, but the nice lady person gives me yucky medicine and it makes my tummy not hurt any more. I am still really scared of everything right now, and have spent most of my time hiding under my towel. The nice lady person comes into my room and gathers me up in my towel and puts me on her bed next to her to snuggle. I fall asleep that way. It is so comforting. She says my towel is my security blanket. I don't like it when I don't have my towel to cuddle in.The nice lady person has some not so nice other cats. There are two that will come up to me and sniff me for a while and then hiss at me. The nice lady person tells them they aren't allowed to hiss, and then spends a few minutes telling them that she still loves them and they are still her babies. There is a big woofie, but I haven't really paid any attention to her, and she hasn't paid any to me either. The nice lady person said that the other two cats wouldn't always be hissy toward me. She said they were just nervous too and that is how they say they are scared. I just want to hide. There is another cat, but I haven't met him. I don't know anything about him, so I can't really tell you whether he is nice or hissy.
I did have some tummy troubles when I first got here, but my nice lady person thinks it was more from nerves than anything. She said to tell you that I have been using my litterbox just fine and that everything is as it should be (how embarrassing).
She ferminated me last night. I didn't like it near my tummy but she was gentle, and I let her know when she got too close. She says I am much floofier and silkier now. She says I still look a little bedraggled and she needs to do something about that. I certainly hope that doesn't involve a bath or anything like that, but it would be nice to look more ladylike.
