 Hi - it's me Cody - I came out of hiding because Mom said she would let me post instead of the evil Gracie.  This is where I like to eat.  Mom was feeding me under the table I'm mostly hiding under, but she is trying to make me feel more comfortable coming out into the rest of the house.  I kind of like my little clubhouse under and behind the couch (except when Gracie tries to break in).  Mom put my litterbox on the other side of the cat tree, so I don't have to bother with the evil menace that calls herself Gracie.

 This picture is of the Evil Intruder Kitty (EIK) that has decided the lounge outside is a good place to nap.  Mom has seen EIK up there a couple of times.  Mom isn't feeding it or taking care of it in anyway because we think it might have a home.  It looks very well fed.  Mom thinks it likes the lounge because it is really warm there because of the big bathtub there - it reflects the sun.

Actually - we don't know if EIK is evil or not.  Gracie doesn't seem bothered by her/him - and s/he has been back there quite a few times that Mom has seen.

Mom says I have to show this picture too since Gracie is also kindof F.F.  Gracie is finally leaving me alone - right before this, she had been playing with the wand toy you see in the picture.  I was trying to play with it, but she broke into my clubhouse, so I had to hide.  Mom stopped playing with me so Gracie would leave me alone.

Me Gracie. Me don't know if me Formerly Feral or not, but me found outside, and me only trust the Mom person at first. Me likes to sit on the back of the couch - this is where me is now. It has the best view of the pool area. Birds like to hang out there, so Gracie escape and som friends We hope y'all have a fabulous weekend.

This is where I've been sleeping every night. Mom puts a blanket over Camie, and I get up there and snuggle with her. It's quite warm. And it allows me to see when Mom starts to move so I can start to demand either treats or food.

I am still really good at demanding treats. And Mom almost always complies with my demands. She even came home early yesterday and is going to stay home today to make sure we get treats on demand. Of course, when she came home yesterday, she ended up sleeping for 5 hours. And she told us she plans on doing even more sleeping today. We think because she is staying home, she should spend time with us, not sleeping on the couch.

This picture is a couple of days old. I haven't been feeling well the past couple of days and have been hiding under the bed. I only stick out my head to let Mom know I want to eat, and then it is only a half-hearted meow. I get this way sometimes with my tummy trouble, but will be fine in a day or two. Mom will, of course, worry about me until I come out again.

I am asking Mom for food here. She has started something different when she feeds us. We have 2 bowls that all four of us share. Two of us share each bowl. We used to get one can in each bowl twice a day. Now what Mom is doing is giving us 1/2 can in each bowl four times a day. She said she is doing this for now because Camie was eating too much of our food, and we were always begging for more. Now we just beg more often, but we are finishing everything that is in our bowl instead of saving some for later. We will see how it goes.

Also, we are a bit sad today because it was one year ago that Tiki ran off to the bridge. We know he is happy and healthy there, but we are sad because we miss him. We can't wait to see you again Tiki.

We are sorry we haven't been visiting much this week, but our internet has been acting up, and about the only time we can get online right now is in the middle of the night. Hopefully we will be around to visit all of you this weekend.

Me Gracie. Me loves to help Two-legged Mom person with homework. For some reason. she keeps picking up Gracie and moving Gracie to side of book. How will she be able to learn without me on book?

Me Gracie! Me like to be high up on things some can look down on everyone. Me am not very high here, but me higher than anyone else.

Two-legged Mom Person is leaving us for the day to go see some big fish thingy named Shamu. She is going to be gone alllllll day long, so we aren't going to be able to visit any of our friends today. :( Two-legged Mom Person says we will get caught up tomorrow.

We are not sure why this didn't post like it was supposed to - but here you go.

Well, I am still hiding out under the bed, but I will come out for treats. Mom is hoping I will start to feel safe enough to come out all the way soon. I am not so sure. Twice now, I've had a blanket thrown over me, and then was stuffed into a moving box. I'm afraid if I come out, it will happen again. Mom has made it easy for me tho. Miss Jade and I get fed under here because Gracie is a brat, and we even have a litterbox under here. That is because Miss Jade has tummy troubles. The only thing under the bed is missing is a nice, soft bed.

Was anyone else having trouble visiting friends yesterday. We got an error message when we tried to visit some blogs. We are sorry if we didn't get to you.

In other news, Miss Jade's foot looks like it is on the mend. She doesn't like anyone to mess with it, but she is letting Mom examine it everyday to check to make sure it isn't infected. Also, it looks like M-word day is Monday. Yuck!

I have got to find a way to hid so that Mom can't get me when it is time to move. I am so terrified of being grabbed and shoved into the PTU (well, actually, I am pretty much terrified of anyone touching me). Mom has been forcing the touching thing the past couple of days. I guess I can tolerate it for a minute or so if I get a big pile of treats to take my mind off of it.

We were sorry to hear that Tazz had to be helped to the bridge. She was a good friend to the Sherwood bunch and will be missed.

It really is great to have someone to nap with or give a bath too. I like having a brother to do things with, and if I was still outside, that might not have happened.

In other news, Mom is deserting us tonight to go see some movie. She says there is a whole group going with her to see Star Trek, including our Papa, our bean cousin and his friend, mom's friend that she watches sci-fi every weekend with, and another friend from work and possibly the friend's son. That's a lot of beans going to see some people running around on a star ship. She could stay at home and watch cats running around for free.

We are also purring very hard for the two Charlies - Daddy Charley and Charlie the cat. We hope they are both well on their way to recovery.

It has been almost a whole month since I have ahad a post all to myself. I have been able to post, but I have had to share with everyone. Because it has been so long, I am not going to look at mom. I am just going to curl up on my bed and sleep and ignore.

In other news, we were so very sad to hear that Cal lost his battle with IBS/IBD. He was such a brave fighter, and was so loved by his mommy and daddy and all of his siblings. If you haven't done so, please stop by and leave his family some comforting words.

She may be a terrible secretary, but I have to admit, Mom does give really great skritches. She fell asleep last night at 8:00. That is a full 6 hours earlier than she usually does. What is up with that? She never gets 6 hours of sleep a night during the week. She's lucky if we let her get 4-1/2. Last night she probably got 9 hours. That is just unacceptable during the week. We hope you have a wonderful weekend.
