We were so sorry to hear of the horrible accident of Forest. Please don't feel guilty Forest's parents. You did your best to make sure that Forest was well loved and taken care of. Yes, cats often out-smart our humans and escape. When we lived in the big city in Florida for the first two years of our lives, we were inside kitties and escaped quite a few times. Fortunately, our yard was fenced and Mom caught us, but we can be very quick. We are all purring for Forest's family.
We were very sad about Forest. Our worst fear is that that was how we would find Gemini when she escaped last year.
